adidas slam van project

Posted on November 27th, 2007 by alexdonne in Graphic Design, London | No Comments »

The ‘Superstar Slam Van’ was a project commissioned by adidas in an effort to bring basketball to the streets of the UK.  I was lucky enough to be asked to handle the creative side of the project and to design the branding and wrap for the van, aswell as help with the documentation of the project from start to finish, which included the production of a DVD.

Working in conjunction with RWD, an urban youth magazine and online portal, we decided to buy an old american chevrolet van from ebay and do it up. This included the interior and exterior design, aswell as the addition of a basketball hoop on the back and a 5k soundsystem.
